About Windham School

This is to be reworked ...

The Windham Elementary School offers an inclusive, educational environment serving students in grades K-6.  Currently, we have 15 students enrolled in K-6.  Jen McKusick is the acting school principal and Marko Lazin is the Elementary Education teacher for grades K-1.

The school’s academic programs are closely aligned with Vermont’s Framework of Standards, the Common Core State Standards, and Next Generation Science Standards. These programs are supported by numerous activities and learning opportunities. In addition, the multi-age groupings provide frequent occasions to learn from peers, both older and younger. The small student body allows for more personal attention and academic support for the students.

As a school community, we strive to create an atmosphere which encourages acceptance, respect, and caring, while teaching students to become responsible citizens in today’s world.
